Feed Mill Pelleting Controls
EAI’s advanced pelleting algorithm allows you to get more efficiency out of your pellet mill compared to other control systems. By incorporating material properties of the feed ingredients into the calculation, we can remove the lag in control that is often seen when material is in the conditioner. By removing the lag time, we can push the mill that much harder without the worry of a plug.
Pelleting parameters for each ration, batch, weight, and destination data is tracked and stored for effortless traceability.
The pellet mill control system includes automatic shutdown for several set points, including main motor amps above high level set point, mill door openings, broken shear pins, and low oil pressure. The pelleting system also senses any plug conditions in the pellet mill and goes into an anti-plug routine to attempt to clear the die. If the die remains plugged for a set period of time, the system will shut down all upstream pellet mills and downstream equipment, which ultimately prevents expensive fixes.
HMI EQUIPMENT CONTROL
From the user-friendly HMI screen, operators can view batch settings and set equipment to initiate sequential pellet runs. Batch parameters are automatically stored and sent to the HMI for easy access. A real-time display provides operators with all crucial information during the run.
TOUCH SCREEN PANEL (OPTIONAL)
The option of a touch screen panel is for the case where the operators would like a touchscreen panel right next to the pellet mill for you to control anywhere.
