Feed Mill Receiving Controls
TRUCK SCALE INTERFACE
The truck scale interface automates the truck receiving process. As regulations and traceability are always a growing concern, the module captures lot and FSMA information electronically and links to moisture meters for easy record keeping. A PO can be assigned at time of receipt or later in the process, depending on how you do your books. Automating your receiving process with EAI's receiving controls allows you to have real-time inventory, eliminate mistakes made with manual entry, and safeguard against the wrong ingredient ending up in the wrong bin.
PO CREATE / IMPORT
The PO create/import function in EAI’s receiving controls package allows you to create purchase orders directly in the system or import them from your accounting system. Inventory receipts can be applied to the purchase orders and the receipt can be send back to accounting for full visibility of what is on order.
REAL-TIME BIN INVENTORY
The system tracks what was put in and what was taken out of the bins to allow for real-time bin inventory.
AUTO ROUTING
When the scale receiving system is used in conjunction with the HMI Controls, the system can ensure that the right bin is being selected. This feature eliminates human errors, saving you both money and time.
HMI EQUIPMENT CONTROL
EAI’s receiving controls give you the ability to control all of your equipment from one or more workstations. The automatic speed adjustment on receiving drags optimizes the system by running the receiving equipment fast or slow depending on the weight of the product. EAI’s feed mill automation receiving systems monitor safety sensors and amp loads, so your system shuts down before equipment is ruined.
